Google Maps Location Sharing Not Updating. Now the problem is the toast just shows previously known the location and not updating unless I opened Google Maps and returned. I think my original problem was caused because my wifes phone decided not to share its location which resulted in the cookie file not being updated in hass.
Why cant I refresh someones location on Google Maps. Or they just might have bad service. Use a location enabled Google app on the iOS device to change the setting but in fact location services is set to Always for google maps on ALL my devices.
The only way to get this to update is to swipe on the phone screen to look at some part of the map not near my location then hit the button in the corner that points the map back at my current location the screen will freeze for a few seconds then jump to show my actual current position.
And Maps Incognito Mode also stops app-related notifications and app. The video explaining it showed a real time representation of the friends on the map often driving down the road. Why cant I refresh someones location on Google Maps. You can also switch to the cellular data from your Wi-Fi connection.
