Google Maps Save Itinerary Offline. Google Maps Comes Offline There are times where were unable to access the Google Maps app. In my next post I share how you can export your Google maps to your PHONE and use it OFFLINE.
Use Naver Maps instead. When connected to the internet open Google Maps and zoom inout to the area you wish to save online. It works in Taiwan but bizarrely not in either Japan or South Korea.
I was blown away when I found out of this feature.
All your previously pinned landmarks are on this app. Search for the name of the location you want to save offline. Open Google Maps tap on your Account Icon and select Offline maps option. With Custom you specify the area of the map youd like to download to your device.
